Boston Takes Divisional in Deciding Game
The Boston Pilgrims and Philadelphia Stars held nothing back in an entertaining Divisional that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Boston advancing to the Championship, after a 7-4 triumph in the final game at Veterans Stadium, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Pilgrims players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Stars.

Cecil Cooper was named series MVP for Boston. For the series, Cooper hit .360 with a .448 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Boston Pilgrims will play against the Seattle Cubs in the next round. Seattle won their series against the Houston Black Aces 4 games to 1. The Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional finishes.
