Lake Monsters Rebuff Pussies, 4-2
Starting pitcher Heinie Berger took care of business, helping the Cleveland Lake Monsters stifle the Tampon Bay Pussies, 4-2. The loss puts Tampon Bay at 3-3.

It could have been a different outcome for Cleveland, had it not been for Jack Heidemann, the 23-year old shortstop . Heidemann contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Cleveland up, 3-2.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Berger.
